I decided late last year that 2026 would be the year of zines! Collecting them, sharing them, and of course, making them. So here's a book themed zine I made (and a page that I took extra time in making) for all of my reads in 2025.

This was really fun to make and I'd love to do this again for my Reads of 2026. There are some improvements I want to make the next time around:

1. Add some more notes on reading habits & add some book format statistics (format I read the book/comic in)

2. 5 top books and 5 top comics of the year with their own pages

3. I actually liked listing the titles, but I want a better color system for 5 star reads, unforgettable reads, books I re-read, and new authors to me.

4. The inside cover could be my reading goals of the year instead of how many books I had read up until that point.

5. Maybe incorporate more mixed media and not add digital art elements at all (?) unsure yet, it was really fun to make those covers!

6. add manga ! I read so much manga and never track it along with my books, that changes this year (I proclaim hopefully).
